Volunteer Opportunity: Become a Welfare Officer for Looe Shedders!

Are you a compassionate and caring individual who enjoys helping others? Looe Shedders needs YOU!

We're looking for volunteers to take on the important role of Welfare Officer, to help identify members who may be feeling isolated or vulnerable and ensure they feel supported and connected. As a Welfare Officer, you'll be playing a key part in keeping our members engaged, encouraging them to attend meetings, and simply offering a friendly ear.

Your Role:

  • Check in regularly with members who may be feeling lonely or isolated.
  • Encourage participation in our group activities and meetings.
  • Provide support and reassurance, ensuring all members feel welcome and valued.
  • Help create a warm, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
